Jennifer Miller, DO

Medical Doctor

Jennifer Miller, DO Graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in
Nutrition. She graduated from Des Moines University medical school in 1999. She
completed her Family Medicine Residency with UMDNJ in Phillipsburg, New
Jersey. She also completed additional residency training in Emergency Medicine.
She has worked several years in both primary care as well as emergency medicine
in many different places such as the US Virgin Islands (both St Croix and St
Thomas), Albuquerque, Bisbee, and now Tucson!
She enjoys getting to know her patients and empowering them to achieve their
best possible self. She has a special interest in nutrition, exercise, and weight loss.
She also has additional skills in Women’s health such as hormone replacement,
placing IUD’s, Nexplanon and performing endometrial biopsy.

She loves to spend time hiking, cooking, reading, and traveling.

Judith Brown, M.D.

Medical Doctor

Dr. Brown, a South New Jersey Native, attended the University of Arizona for both her medical (1995) and undergraduate (molecular and cellular biology) degrees. She completed her family medicine residency in 1999 at The Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia where she was elected Chief Resident by her peers. She was also honored with The Resident Teacher Award from the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.

Dr. Brown enjoys running, scrap booking, spending time with her family and church.

Kevin Pounds, M.D.

Medical Doctor

Dr. Pounds is a board-certified Family Practitioner who has been practicing in Tucson since 2001. He graduated from medical school at Pennsylvania State University in 1999. He then completed his internship and residency in Phoenix at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Dr. Pounds enjoys caring for people of all ages. He has special interests in sports medicine and nutrition. He also does minor surgical procedures.

When not practicing medicine, Dr. Pounds enjoys time with his family, cycling, hiking, cooking and traveling.

Amy Singer, DO

Medical Doctor

Dr. Singer is a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician originally from West Virginia. She is a graduate of the W.V. School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio where she served as Chief Resident.

She enjoys running, hiking, vacations, and spending time with her family - which includes her 3 awesome dogs.

Following graduation, Dr. Singer completed her Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship training at the University of Arizona.

Paul Stamer, PA-C

Certified Physician Assistant

Paul Stamer is a certified physician assistant. He received his Bachelor in Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Arizona while playing football for the Arizona Wildcats. He coached football for 2 years while earning a Master of Arts degree in Language, Reading, and Culture from the University of Arizona. He then worked as an exercise physiologist in cardiac rehabilitation at Northwest Hospital until returning to school at Western University in Pomona, California. There he earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. He returned to Tucson where he worked as a Physician Assistant in Cardiology for 7 years and Sleep Medicine for 2 years. He has been enjoying Family Practice since 2011 and has an interest in sleep and preventative medicine.

Megan Bauder, PA-C

Certified Physician Assistant

Megan was born and raised in Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula. She completed her training at University of Washington in Seattle and looks forward to making Tucson her home.

Megan worked in family medicine prior to becoming a PA and values preventative health and continuity of care.

She has special interests in women’s health as well as dermatology. Megan looks forward to establishing connections with her patients and approaching healthcare with a holistic mindset.

Outside of the clinic, Megan enjoys reading, running and hiking and is excited to explore the adventures the Southwest has to offer.

Michael Spillane, FNP

Family Nurse Practitioner

Originally from New Hampshire, Michael completed his Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from Northern Arizona University while making Tucson his home.

He has years of experience in various positions within the healthcare field.

Michael did the majority of his training at Gila Valley Clinic - and enjoys giving care to under-served communities.

In his free time, Michael can be found in the mountains around Tucson rock climbing and mountain biking.

RUTH SEPPALA, FNP

Certified Physician Assistant

Ruth was born and raised in Tucson/Oro Valley, Arizona. She is a proud graduate of Canyon Del Oro High School and the University of Arizona. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (1997) and Master of Science degree in Nursing as Family Nurse Practitioner (2001) from the University of Arizona. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Ruth has worked for 20+ years as a Family Nurse Practitioner, all of which have been in family practice. She takes pride if getting to know her patients and working together with them to provide the best individualized care that meets their needs.
Outside of work, Ruth enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children and 2 dogs. She enjoys outdoor activities, such as golfing, hiking, running. You can often find (and hear) her at one of her children’s sporting events being their biggest cheerleader.
